Leave No Trace

Leave No Trace is a set of ethical guidelines aimed at limiting human impact whilst in the outdoors. It articulates guidance in the following 7 key areas:

  1. Plan Ahead and Prepare
  2. Travel and Camp on Durable Surfaces
  3. Dispose of Waste Properly
  4. Minimize Campfire Impacts
  5. Be Considerate of Other Visitors

More details related to these principles can be found by clicking the links above, or accessing the main page here:

Leave No Trace is also a non-profit organisation working to increase awareness and conservation of the outdoors through education, research, volunteerism and partnership.

As per Seatrekking Guidelines, Seatrekking adheres to and abides by the Leave No Trace principles.

Our commitment is to minimise every possible trace of our passage in the oceans and along the coastline or terrains we traverse.

We consider ourselves privileged to be a part of nature, and we are deeply aware of the responsibility we have to preserve the ecosystems we travel through.
